Hey Loves! I want to start off by saying I am praying for you. Since the outbreak of Covid-19, many lives have been affected and many people have lost loved ones due to this deadly virus. This deadly virus has wreaked havoc on a lot of people's mental health and has put them in deep fear, anxiety, stress, sadness, and depression. When the Lord told me to write this blogpost, I am doing so in hopes to bring peace to myself and others. Here are a few things the Lord has been dealing with me in order to have peace during the pandemic and that is:
1. Have a close relationship with the Lord.
2. Keep my mind stayed on Jesus. Isaiah 26:3 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)3 God, you give true peace to people who depend on you, to those who trust in you.
3. Keep a gratitude journal and give thanks at all times.
4. Love on your loved ones.
5. Limit exposure to social media and the news.
These are some things that God has been dealing with me in order to have peace. I also recommend reading your word and meditating on the word of God. God has truly shown me that my relationship with Him is all that truly matters. At the end of the day, He is the one that knows how many of my days are numbered and I will have to answer to Him on account of my life. I'm learning to accept peace with Christ in whatever He allows to happen and not question Him about.I'm learning to rest in His sovereignty. I am growing in gratefulness and have noticed by simply writing three things I'm grateful for each day I've noticed I have more positive moods, more joy, more peace, less stress, and anxiety. I bought a Christian women gratitude journal off Amazon. I'm learning gratitude is the secret to happiness.
I'm sure there are plenty of tips on how to have peace during the pandemic but these are the ones God put on my heart and has been working for me. I pray you find this post helpful and share it with someone who may be struggling in this area. I am praying for you. We will get through this together!
Love you!
