Where is Jesus in the midst of Racism, Hate, Police Brutality and Black Lives Matter?

Hey loves! We're midway into the year and in the month of June and so much has transpired. It's been really rough for a lot of us Browns and Blacks across the globe. You may be wondering where is GOD? Where is Jesus in the midst of all this chaos and I can assure you, He is right on the throne. He sees the injustice, the anger, the heart ache, the tears, and the pain.  And He mourns, weeps, and He will vindicate and give justice. I know it seems unfair that racism, hate, police brutality and social injustice exists but unfortunately this is one of the costs of the Fall with Adam and Eve. Thank God for the second Adam which is Jesus Christ that gives hope to an expected end which is eternity in Heaven for those who have accepted Him as their LORD and Savior.  1 Corinthians 15:45-49   New Living Translation (NLT) 45  The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit.   46  What comes fi

How to Have Peace During the Pandemic

Photo Cred: Aljazeera  Hey Loves! I want to start off by saying I am praying for you. Since the outbreak of Covid-19, many lives have been affected and many people have lost loved ones due to this deadly virus. This deadly virus has wreaked havoc on a lot of people's mental health and has put them in deep fear, anxiety, stress, sadness, and depression. When the Lord told me to write this blogpost, I am doing so in hopes to bring peace to myself and others. Here are a few things the Lord has been dealing with me in order to have peace during the pandemic and that is: 1. Have a close relationship with the Lord. 2. Keep my mind stayed on Jesus.  Isaiah 26:3   Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) 3 God, you give true peace to people who depend on you,   to those who trust in you. 3. Keep a gratitude journal and give thanks at all times.  4. Love on your loved ones. 5. Limit exposure to social media and the news.  These are some things that God has been dealing with me in order to

Becoming God's Best!

Happy February loves! God has been really speaking to me about what to blog for this month, especially with Valentine's Day coming up in less than a couple of weeks and that is to become God's best! The photo above is a book I purchased 10 years ago like towards the end of December of 2010 and I really was buying it for someone else. Then I decided that even though at that time I was in a so-called relationship, that I needed it. I really learned about the scriptures in a deeper way from what I remember and I remember that I wasn't whole. Then less than 7 months later, my boyfriend at that time and I broke up and now it's 9 years later and I look at wholeness in a whole new way.  I'm pleading with you whether you are single or married, to become whole and work on becoming God's best, for yourself. You owe it to yourself! There are so many men and women who are searching for someone to complete them when God created them to become one whole person befo

New Year, New Goals! #2020

Happy New Year Loves! I'm sorry that it has been a while since I've last blogged on here about the release of my first NEW book, "All That Glitters Ain't Gold"! I'm so excited that I birthed that baby last year, had a successful book signing and altogether have sold and given away over 100 books! God is so faithful! And I'm currently working on book #2 which I will be discussing my journey with mental illness and been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. I will keep you all updated about that release as well! Right now it is tentatively should be released in 2021 but we will see! :) Keep me in your prayers! So, last year during the beginning of the year I blogged about breaking bad habits and one of the bad habits that I mentioned was my food addiction. I talked about how I was going to exercise and eat healthier. Honestly, I wasn't that consistent in doing that, but it was my goal. With that goal in mind, I was able to get a workout partner and
