Cheerful Giving

It's that time of the year around the Christmas holiday that gifts are exchanged and you usually see the  Salvation Army ringing the bell for donations or on commercials of St. Jude;s asking for donations. So today I want to encourage you to be a cheerful giver and give to those who are in need. You are blessed to be a blessing to someone else. Give monetary, clothes, food, or whatever the Lord places on your heart. The Lord promises to bless you back. Check out the scriptures below! New Living Translation You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. "For God loves a person who gives cheerfully." 2 Corinthians 9:7 New International Version Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 2 Corinithians 9:6 New Living Translation If you help the poor, you are lending to the LORD--and he will repay you! Proverbs 19:17

Who DO you worship?

" After that, Abram traveled south and set up camp in the hill country, with Bethel to the west and Ai to the east. There he built another altar and dedicated it to the LORD, and he worshiped the LORD" Genesis12:8          Sitting here in worshiping my King in my room with a holy altar set up for Him---just want to note that this experience with Christ is beyond amazing. Listening to one of my fave worship songs by William McDowell "I Belong to You" on blast times 1 billion;  thinking about how God's sweetest love overflows into my life ...has always and continues to completely satisfy and fulfill me. His dear words that He wanted me to share with you are these beautiful words here:  "I will prepare a place for you".       After a few occurrences with people the past year where I've been in grocery stores and randomly chat with people while shopping..and after the chat-- you're both  like, "I hope to see each other again and the

Why Worry?

Worry? How many of us are guilty of this behavior that is completely opposite of having faith? Doubt and worry are two of the many ways the enemy uses to tear down what God has in store for you and deter you from your destiny. It's like you're banging your head into that same wall over and over again expecting not to get worn out, bruised, and turn out completely fine but in reality you end up with a brain injury because you tormented yourself half to death about things that you can't change, you have absolute no control over, and struggling over the fact that you can't see the breakthrough or beyond what's in front of you! SO TODAY I'M ENCOURAGING YOU AND MYSELF that we release the spirit of worry that usually ends up with doubt, unbelief, and so many other things that aren't of Christ. I felt the spirit of worry upon myself and others I pray this blog encourages and blesses you to move forward with the things God has in store for you!       T

God, why ME?!

Ever questioned God and asked, "Why me, God?" Why did this happened to me? Why am I going through this? Why am I afflicted with this? I recall my aunt being in and out of the hospital, and her legs were being amputated and the LORD  told me to share with her that she was a strong soldier that could endure these things to bring Him glory. I recall writing to minister to  her about the, " Why Me? " to later down the line, asking God for myself ," Why Me ? Maybe the Lord called you to break some generational curses off your bloodline, to  live a different lifestyle, healed from sicknesses or disease or to break poverty. and everything is opposing your way. Instead you are being attacked mentally,, emotionally, spiritually and/or financially. Maybe God is stretching your faith in this season and it's uncomfortable because you can't see what God has called you to be or how to go about it. Well, you are definitely not alone but let me ask

"..God uses you in spite of you"

Have you ever felt that GOD couldn't use you? Your sins, failures, obstacles, bondage, etc were just too much for your purpose. Well, honey let me tell you, GOD uses you in spite of you.  He takes all your past mistakes, failures, sins, obstacles and use it for His divine purpose for your life.  Psalm 138:8   The  Lord  will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O  Lord , endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.       This scripture says the Lord will fulfill his purpose in our lives. We can be assured that that is a promise from the Almighty God. God wants to take the opportunity to mold you like the clay above and put you on His Potter's wheel to form you into His image and likeness.  He wants to strengthen you in the areas you are weak. Take your pain and turn into purpose and your misery into ministry.      I      So together, let's move forward in our purpose in Christ because it is a big one

Make Changes

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've blogged but I wanted to encourage you before the New Year comes along and that is to... make changes. Yes, there is time to make changes because God's grace is still here for those areas He need you to work on to be dealt with. His mercies are fresh every morning. Whatever you may be battling with whether it's financial, pornography, sexual immorality, weight/eating disorders, wrong thinking, struggling to trust God, suicidal thoughts etc. There is hope at the cross and healing and restoration will take place in your life. To move forward in the New Year you must know that there is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1.   It's time to daily pick up your cross and die to your flesh. It's time to stop saying to yourself things will never change to switch your mindset to eyes of faith. God wants to develop you in all the areas that you are weak to make you strong in Him. So get prepare
